Exyzt est un collectif pluri-disciplinaire qui invite à une relecture des espaces . Il conçoit et réalise chaque projet comme un terrain de jeux où s’interpellent, s’entrecroisent et s’interpénètrent pratiques culturelles et histoires partagées.
Mandaté par l'architecte Patrick Bouchain pour la conception du pavillon français à la Biennale d’Architecture de Venise en 2006, le collectif réalise régulièrement des installations architecturales éphémères à travers le monde.
Chaque intervention s’inscrit dans un temps et un territoire déterminés, expérimentant le rôle que peut jouer une installation dans un milieu urbain, son rapport à la ville, au quartier, aux habitants.
Pour cette nouvelle édition du Mapping Festival, le collectif propose de plonger le public dans un espace vidéo-configuré.
Experiment. Architecture can expand into a transdisciplinary field, where new tools can be explored. Our current recipe : marinate construction with video, music, graphic design, photography and gastronomy, without forgetting to leave space for interaction, freedom, informality and unpredictability. Our projects can result in spatial video games, architectural buildings, musical environments and/or thematic food feasts.
